The John Moriarty Institute’s International Reading Group is currently planning our path for 2026.

Throughout 2025 our monthly online gatherings read, discussed and explored Introducing John Moriarty In His Own Words, a selection of John’s writing edited and introduced by Professor Michael W. Higgins and Brother Seán Aherne. We were lucky to have both editors take part in the Reading Group discussions which invariably yielded rich new insights into John’s writing from many contributors.

The 2025 International Reading Group met online on the last Tuesday evening of every month (20:30 Irish time).

In the coming months (i.e. before early 2026) we will outline, in this space, our plans for the 2026 sessions of our International Reading Group. If you are interested in taking part in one or a number of upcoming sessions, please do get in touch. We would love to share the journey with you.
